O caso do Blu-ray 4K em um mundo de streaming
People are getting better at living with Covid-19 as the pandemic nears its second anniversary, with mass vaccinations allowing a return to more normal life. However, concerns remain about the emergence of new variants that could lead to surges in cases and a renewal of restrictions.
Nearly two years since the coronavirus was first identified, there are signs the public’s attitude is shifting from panic to acceptance of a long-term coexistence with the virus. Governments are peeling back restrictions as data indicates omicron, while highly transmissible, has caused fewer hospitalizations and deaths than previous variants.
That has allowed a steady reopening of borders and lifting of mask mandates and vaccine passports around the world. People are traveling, socializing, and returning to offices and classrooms. Many no longer break into a sweat at every sneeze. At the same time, countries are adapting pandemic response to strengthen health care systems’ ability to cope with potential new outbreaks.
However, experts warn that living with an endemic virus does not mean the pandemic is over or that the risk is gone. There remains uncertainty around what new variants may emerge and whether they could evade protection offered by vaccination and prior infection. With much of the developing world still lacking access to vaccines, the virus will continue to spread and evolve as long as that remains the case.
